Aren Guralp

Hi! I’m Aren, a fourth-year undergraduate at Brown University studying mathematics. I’m interested in {algebraic, arithmetic} + {geometry, dynamics}, and a proud dual-alum of Budapest Semesters in Mathematics and HCSSiM.

Outside of classes, I enjoy reading, writing (poetry, prose, and puzzles), playing social deduction games, and playing ultimate frisbee. At the moment (10/19/26), I’m reading Use of Weapons by Iain Banks and listening to Tyrant: Baru Cormorant by Seth Dickinson. I’m a writer and editor for MIT Mystery Hunt 2027, and a senior editor for Brown Puzzlehunt 2027.

I keep an anonymous feedback form, inspired by Cate Hall. I welcome any feedback you wish to share with me.
